↕ CALL TO WORSHIP from Psalm 19:1
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the firmament shows forth the work of God’s
hands.”
Open our eyes to see your glory in all your works,
O God of all creation.
So may we learn to serve our God with gladness,
for the sake of Christ, through whom all things
were made.
↕♫ HYMN #268
“God, Who Stretched the Spangled Heavens”
↕ CONFESSION OF SIN
Gracious God, who made us all, have mercy on us as we confess our sin. We say we love our neighbors, but we still make distinctions. We say
we have faith, but our works do not show it. Our lips praise you, but we cast off strangers.
We are not worthy to ask forgiveness except for the name of Christ. Hear our confession of sin through his name.
(silent confession of sin . . . )
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.

PRAYER OF THANKS and
LORD’S PRAYER
O God, in Jesus Christ you call us to follow. With these gifts, we indicate our desire to respond to his commandments. We dedicate our actions to match his desires. We commit our intentions to be led by his Spirit. With all that we have, we seek to be faithful. Bless these gifts, we pray, in the name of Jesus, who taught us to pray: “Our Father….” Amen.
