Installation / Notes/Action Items:- In conjunction with Savage IT dept – install on target server or VMand disk system.
- Work with IT dept in establishing login policies, security policies, remote support policies, backup policies, and service pack update policies.
- Install eRPortal CMMS software and all other modules per specification.
Inv Control, Stockroom management, location tracking, usage history tracking, parts cost chargeback, Purchasing, Requisitioning, re-order trigger rules, vendor management, barcode, reports, homepage portal,
Wonderware interface with Utilization based PM triggers, Condition based Work Order Triggers via Historian interface and InTouch interface
- Integrate to Wonderware Historian
Incorporate nomenclature, KPIs and organizational policies & preferences / Notes/Action Items:
Review and configuration of every screen in all modules to finalize look and feel, form configurations, tabs, and all labeling of data and system attributes to enable dual criteria information capture:
- Criteria one = quick data entry.
- Criteria two = accurate capture of all pertinent information related to Savage KPIs.
- Review and configuration of Asset Hierarchy throughout Utility (Water, Wastewater, Collection, Distribution, Utilities, etc.), along with sub-hierarchies, departments, sections, or any other structure desired.
- Review and configuration of Equipment specific hierarchies (Asset, Sub-Asset, linear, Sub-Assembly, Key Component, etc.)
- Review and configuration of SCADA monitored condition and utilization based Work Order rules and settings.
- Review and configuration of PM procedure types, Corrective Action Procedure types, linked procedures,
- Calendar based PM rules and work order triggers – procedures, parts, tools listing considerations
- Review and configuration of parts, tools, and supplies tracking, utilization, and procurement preferences and practices. Stock tracking vs. Just-in-time purchasing, linking to assets or departments, location tracking, barcode options, cost tracking, vendor management, and re-order rules.
- Review and configuration of work order and work management policies, data collection preferences, notification rules, assignment and scheduling, and planning preferences and best practices.
- Review work order process and notification rules, preferences, and requirements
- Review all existing sources of data (such as equipment IDs, parts, vendors, procedures) for import and initialization into system upon start-up. Or, incorporate templates into system implementation to facilitate rapid new data entry
- Review and configure required reports and information grids per user specific or group specific KPIs.
- Discuss and configure each user’s login environment – what applications, what shortcuts, what information.
- Review and consider Work /Service request intranet users –
- Operators in conjunction with eRPortal ActiveX
- Other groups of Municipality employees
- Required information vs. optional information at time of request
- Default assets, departments, or asset class by user or group of users
- Post WO request status privileges – if allowed to view work status – what attributes and what level of search/sort.
- Email notification rules
Implementation, Training, and Support / Notes/Action Items:
- Design review all modules of eRPortal, now configured with Savage specific nomenclature, labeling, and KPI criteria.
- In conjunction with this, we will work with Savage to test actual data that has been imported for accuracy.
- On-Premise training and final data import cut-over
- On-Premise support during go-live at all levels of deployment, per specification groupings
- As part of annual maintenance program, Savage receives unlimited live help desk phone support for on-going assistance with best practices continuous improvement.
