Some people wanted to be able to purchase tickets before their visit / Online ticketing will become available during November
Some visitors asked for more information about the geology and archaeology of the site / Two new audio tours are being developed over the winter covering these areas in more detail and should be ready by February half term
You wanted to be able to use headphones with the audio guides / The brand-new audio guides have a universal jack point for visitors to use their own headphones and earbuds. For those who have poor hand grip we can also supply headphones
You requested more audio guide languages / Korean, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish languages have now been added bringing the total number of languages to 12
You said there was no interpretation for Bulgarian visitors / A Bulgarian information sheet is now available
You said you would like an accessible toilet within the museum / A brand new larger accessible toilet is being installed along the King’s Bath corridor halfway around the museum; ready November
You wanted to be able to get married beside the Great Bath later in the evening / A unique “Sunset Wedding” ceremony and reception package can now be booked for the evening as well as our morning “Sunrise” weddings
You said the lighting in the East Baths was too dim, walkways were gloomy and you couldn’t see everything / The East Baths are having a major redevelopment this winter to improve lighting and interpretation, reduce water penetration and carry out conservation
Wheelchair users were unable to access the Temple Precinct / The Temple Precinct is now step free with a wider walkway. Four lifts now enable wheelchair users to go round the museum in the same direction as everyone else with 90% accessible
You found it confusing to navigate the site / New directional arrows have been added throughout; clearer instructions have been added to the route plan for wheelchair users
People with limited mobility requested mobile seat sticks to perch on during the visit / We have purchased walking stick tripod seats to borrow during the visit
