According to Article 22 of the Visa Code, a MemberState may require the central authorities of other Member States to consult its central authorities during the examination of applications lodged by nationals of specific third countries or specific categories of such nationals. Such consultations shall not apply to applications for airport transit visas.
The table below shows the list of such third countriesand, as the case may be, of the specific categories of their nationals. The fact that a country is included in the list means that there is at least one MemberState requiring prior consultations with the country.

to the ex post information requirement
According to Article 31 of the Visa Code, a MemberState may require that its central authorities be informed of visas issued by consulates of other Member States to nationals of specific third countries or to specific categories of such nationals, except in the case of airport transit visas.
The table below shows the list of such third countries and, as the case may be, of the specific categories of their nationals. The fact that a country is included in the list means that there is at least one MemberState requiring ex post information from the country.
