*Grade the camper will be registered

in the upcoming academic school

year (2017-2018).

Cost and Registration

Camp rate is $125 for the week

($25 of this is due at the time that you register and is non-refundable.

The additional $100 is due one week before the first day of camp).

This amount will cover transportation, activities, lunch and snacks.

If you are interested in offering your time and talents to this year’s camp, if only for a day, a week of mornings or afternoons, etc.-please contact the Women’s Center @ 321.242.3110.

The campers will truly appreciate your time and talents (it is such a gift to these young girls). It is also a wonderful opportunity to meet others—just like you—wanting and willing to make a difference to girls at critical point in their lives.

Girls’ Adolescence, Independence & Achievement Camp 2017

For girls entering

5th through 8th grade*

The mission of the Women's Center is to empower women and their families by providing support, education, counseling, information, and services.

Since 1975, we have served women within our community and we continue to expand and grow to meet the changing needs in women's lives.

We believe that a woman attains positive self-esteem, confidence, and knowledge in her adolescence years.

Therefore, the Women’s Centerproudly present the fifth annualCamp GAIAfor girls entering 5ththrough 8th grade in the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.

Camp Activities

Each day of camp will have a specific set of thematic activities. These daily themes include:

  • Learning About and Taking Care of Myself
  • Leadership & Teamwork
  • Giving Back to the Community
  • Being A Good Citizen
  • Embracing Creativity

In addition, campers willmeet and interact with strong female role models living & working within the community.

Learning Points

The camp is structured with a curriculum designed to promote the following learning points:

  • Good Nutrition and Exercise
  • Setting Good Personal Boundaries
  • Realizing Desires and Becoming Self-Aware
  • Channeling Emotions
  • The Value of Giving Back to the Community
  • Setting Goals for the Future

How to Enroll

To register your camper for

Camp GAIA, she must be:

  1. Entering the 5th through 8th grade for the 2017-2018academic school year.
  1. Willing to learn new things and meet new people.
  1. Ready to have a GREAT time with girls her own age!
