The Academy softball staff and Lady Centaur players will run camp.

Head Coach Jason Gerum

Jason Gerum is in his 5th season on the Academy staff. Prior to this campaign coach Gerum served as the head coach of Griswold High School softball. In 5 seasons he compiled a record of 108-20. He led the wolverines to 4 straight E.C.C. division titles, 3 straight E.C.C. Tournament titles and back to back State Championship appearances. In 2003 he won the C.I.A.C. class M state Championship with a perfect record of 26-0. As an assistant coach he helped lead the Connecticut Green Devils to 4 PONY fast pitch qualifier titles, an ASA State championship, ASA New England championship and 3 PONY National

Tournament appearances including a final four finish. Coach Gerum has also served as a head coach in boys’ basketball and boys’ soccer where he has won 3 E.C.C. championships.

Assistant Coach Brad Favreau

Brad Favreau joined the Centaurs staff prior to the 2013 season. From 1997-2000 Favreau was the head coach of Griswold High School softball where he compiled a record of 55-33. He led the Wolverines to two Q.V.C. division titles and a Q.V.C. tournament championship. He is also a former high school head coach of boys’ soccer, basketball and was previously an assistant for the Woodstock Academy boys’ basketball and baseball teams.
