The Georgian Bay Land Trust (GBLT) Georgian Bay Skies Photo Contest Rules and Regulations
To Enter: No purchase necessary.
· Please submit 1-3 digital photographs of Georgian Bay skies
· Photos can be black and white, colour or duotone
· All photos must be from the Eastern shoreline of Georgian Bay or the North Channel
· Photos may include elements other than sky (water, rocks, trees, etc) as long as the sky is prominently featured
· Photos must be a minimum size of 3 MB
· Photos may be from any year
· Entrants may submit a maximum of 3 photos
Contest Dates: The contest begins on May 31st, 2017 at 9 a.m. (EST) and closes on September 15th at 11:59 p.m. (EST). Contest winners will be selected by a panel of judges on or around October 20th, 2017. All judges’ decisions will be final. Winners will be contacted by telephone or e-mail.
Submissions

Entries
All entries become the property of GBLT upon receipt and will not be returned and no correspondence will be entered into except with selected entrants. All photograph entries will become the property of GBLT and may be used in its promotional campaigns for any purpose. GBLT has the right to use the selected photographs for any promotional reasons. Each entry must include entrant's name, address, e-mail, phone number, and location of the image.
Eligibility
To enter and be eligible to win, you must be a photographer who is a resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) or US., and not be an employee of, a member of the immediate family of, or cohabitant with an employee of the Georgian Bay Land Trust.
PRIZE: There will be twenty five (25) prizes each consisting of a poster of “Georgian Bay Skies.” Approximate value of each prize is $50.
The winners' names and submitted photographs may be published in the Georgian Bay Land Trust promotional materials of any kind. GBLT reserves the right to edit entrants’ photos and to crop or colour correct in GBLT's sole discretion. All entries submitted must be original, unpublished photographs. The entrant must own all rights to any photographs at the time of entry into this contest. All entrants agree to indemnify GBLT fully regarding any claims arising out of the use of a photograph submitted.
Responsibility
No responsibility will be taken for any lost, damaged or delayed entry due to technical malfunction of computer online systems, computer equipment, software and failure of any e-mail or online entry submitted or any damage or disruption to any entry submitted by mail.
By participating in the Contest, entrants accept and agree to these Contest Rules and the decisions regarding any aspect of the contest, which shall be final and binding in all respects and release, discharge and hold harmless, the Georgian Bay Land Trust and its officers, directors and employees, and the contest judges, from any liability, claims or damages arising out of their participation in the contest and the acceptance of any prize.
General Conditions:
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash. GBLT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any or all of the prizes for prizes of equal or greater value.
Chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. The contest is void where prohibited by law.
GBLT reserve the right to disqualify a person if he/she enters this contest or tries to do so by any means contrary to these Rules.
GBLT reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify the rules or administration of or suspend this contest in whole or in part without prior notice with no obligation or liability, including if for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, whether due to technical failure, or computer virus, tampering, fraud, or corruption of security or proper administration of the contest or other causes beyond the control of GBLT. In such event, a winner may be selected by the Judging panel from among all valid entries received up to the time of cancellation, termination or suspension.
