Wednesday Community Meal on December 17
Wednesday night’s home-cooked meal from 5:00 to 6:00pm will be Roast Beef & Ham, Au Gratin Potatoes, veggies (with cheese sauce on the side), salad, bread and holiday cookies. The Council & Foundation are scheduled to serve on December 17. There will be no meal on 12/24 or 12/31.

Lighting of the Christmas Trees
Our traditional Lighting of the Christmas Trees and Dedication of the chancel for the Nativity of Our Lord will be on Tuesday, December 16, at 2:00pm.
This is a special service for many in our congregation who prefer a service during the day and for those who may not be in town Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Everyone is invited! If you know of someone who does not have transportation to church, please call them and offer to bring them to this service. Or they can contact the church office (952-881-8600), and a ride will be arranged. This service will include reading the Christmas gospel in several languages and Holy Communion. Special music will be provided by John Salveson. We will also give recognition to Bartimaeus for decorating the chancel area. Following the service, we will gather in the social hall to sing Christmas carols and enjoy cookies and coffee. We invite you to bring your favorite Christmas cookies to share with others. A sign-up can be found on the library desk. Coffee and beverages will be provided. This service is J.O.Y.’s regular December meeting.
