NEW (National Education for Women’s) Leadership New England will host its first annual five-day residential program for undergraduate women in June 2017 at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College. NEW Leadership New England is a leadership training program designed to educate and empower young women to give them the skills to be part of the next generation of women leaders. The program includes workshops for students to actively develop leadership skills such as public speaking and networking, as well as presentations from politically active women throughout New England. Participants will also benefit from the Faculty-in-Residence, a group of women public leaders who serve as mentors for students throughout their stay. We are looking for a diverse group of young women who are motivated to learn about women’s participation in public life and develop their own leadership skills. Having already demonstrated leadership skills is not a necessary requirement for acceptance; those who show they have the potential for leadership are encouraged to apply, and students with a range of leadership experience will be accepted. Please tell us why you believe the applicant is 1) qualified for the program, and 2) how you believe they could benefit from the program. If you have any questions please contact Dr. Elizabeth Ossoff at or go to our webpage, http://www.anselm.edu/Academics/Beyond-the-Classroom/NEW-Leadership-New-England.htm?site=full. Thank you for taking the time to complete this application.
