Reduced Cost in Yield Savings in Bag Weights (Cost Savings > 1.5 million Annually). Studied process and using new SPC system to identify lines with largest product loss. Implemented Line Teams and developed standardized work Instructions for Line and position Data collect with real-time SPC concluded after 4 weeks a cost savings over $1.5 Million with reduced bag weights. Reduced head count and using Lean Manufacturing techniques to decrease cost per lb/man hours from $.12 to .08 in 6 months.
