Precautions / Proper equipment and trained professionals should be available at all times. Someone with a fear of heights might not enjoy this activity.
Sequence/Directions
1. Put on proper equipment for climbing (shoes and harness). Make sure rock climbing sneakers are tied tightly and harnesses are in place and properly fastened.
2. Have the Belay (person who acts as an anchor) fasten the ropes into place.
3. Start climbing. (Techniques may vary from person to person however most people will use arms for leverage and hanging, and legs for force to move up the wall. Support the bulk of body weight on feet. Rest the edges of feet or the point of big toe on climbing holds.)
4. Reach desired distance
5. Communicate with Belay to be lowered.
