MdCV Parents and Patrons
Your help is needed

As you know, school districts in the state of Kansas have seen their budgets cut severely. USD #456 has seen its budget cut $250,000 since June 30, 2009. Govern Parkinson proposed a plan that would help school districts by raising revenue that would help to fund an increase in “per student” funding. If no new revenue is added, USD #456 will face another $150,000 in cuts. This would take school funding back to 1998 levels. We need your help in this matter. Please check the school website at to retrieve the following letters (one to our local Representative and one to our local senator) and send or email them to our politicians in Topeka. If these cuts are instituted, we will see drastic cuts in services and personnel. Below are the phone numbers and the email addresses of our local Representative and out local Senator.
