Five Scholarships of $4,000 each ($2,000 per year for two consecutive academic years) will be awarded. The awards will be based on your application, personal essay, goals, honors/activities, financial need, and letters of recommendation. Your high school class rank, grades, and ACT or SAT score may also be used in the review.
Qualifications: To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a malehigh school graduating senior with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. To qualify for the second installment prior to your sophomore year, you must have made satisfactory academic progress during your freshman year.

Essay Requirements
Please include a personal essay (you may include an essay from one of your college applications). You may include any information which will provide the selection committee additional insight as to why you deserve this scholarship, especially any special interests, talents, or special circumstances you wish the committee to consider.
Required Format: Limit the essay to no more than two typed-written pages. Place your name and the title of your essay at the top of each page. Triple space after the title, double space the body of your essay, and use one-inch margins.
Required Supporting Material
Please include at least two, but no more than three,Letters of Recommendation, with your application. At least one letter must be from a teacher or other member of your academic community. Confirmation of your need for this scholarship award in at least one of your Letters of Recommendation would be beneficial to the review of your application.LETTERS MUST BE IN A SEALED ENVELOPE WITH THE SIGNATURE OF THE RECOMMENDER ACROSS THE SEAL. OTHERWISE, THE LETTER SHOUD BESENT DIRECTLY FROM THE RECOMMENDER or THE APPLICANT’S GUIDANCE OFFICE TO THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE AT THE ADDRESS BELOW.
