CALL TO ORDER: called to order at 7:08 p.m.

BUSINESS ARISING FROM LAST BOARD MEETING:
1. Oilers 50/50- still short people, could be fined $100/ person that we are short. When volunteers are done selling 50/50 bus will take them to Boston Pizza in Sherwood Park AB for pizza & a drink.
2. Apparel Policy – Deb Thiel submitted her apparel policy as follows:
Defined Apparel:
-Jackets
-Track Suits/Wind Suits
-Hoodie’s/Bunny Hugs
This apparel shall include anything that is purchased or donated to the team. The apparel MUST be purchased locally within the business community of Lloydminster. The ONLY logo to be placed on the exterior of the garment is that of Lloydminster Minor Hockey. (IE: Flaming B) All jackets, track suits and wind suits are to be base color black with red or white accent trim. All hoodie/bunny hugs base color may have the option to be in one of the 3 Lloydminster Minor Hockey colors – RED, WHITE OR BLACK with the Lloydminster Minor Hockey Logo (IE: Flaming B) with red, white or black accent trim. The apparel will be allowed to have the player information as well as the team name as visible text on the garment. There will be no other logos allowed on the garment other than that of the manufacturer.
Any violation of this policy will result in a suspension of practise ice (to the equivalent of $1000.00).
Items not included in this definition of apparel are:
-Hats
-Toques
-Scarves
-T-Shirts
These items may have the Lloydminster Minor Hockey logo on them but is optional. They as well will be able to have the sponsor logo on them in any color they wish.
The Elite Division of Lloydminster Minor Hockey is excluded from this motion, but must purchase their apparel within their draw zone when they have players within the draw zone whose parents have a business that can provide them the apparel.

3. Budgets: Initiation, Novice budgets are done. Midget, Bantam & Peewee registration looks like they will have to increase by $15.00/player. Also there will have to be a team fee increase. Atom division will be a $40.00/player increase to help offset the deficit we have been running in that division. There will be a planned budget meeting before the next board meeting so registration fees can be set before May1/2013 for the set up of the online registrations for May1/2013.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Storage: we will have to give up storage room at the Servus Sports Center by the middle of May 2013. In a previous meeting, a motion was approved to purchase a sea can or trailer for storing equipment. Possibility of that being stored in L & L Oilfield’s yard has been discussed with Brent Mohrbutter.
Motion: To spend up to $7000.00 to purchase a storage unit for storing minor hockey equipment and supplies made by: Craig Smith

2. Jersey’s - Maureen Tkachuk house fire incurred a loss of Lloydminster Minor Hockey jerseys. Her insurance company will be providing minor hockey with a cheque for that loss in 5-6 weeks.
3. Zone 2 Meeting – was held in Fort Sask. AB. On April 7/2013, Darrell & Glenda attended. There was discussion around nothing to happen around the PW AA league till 2014-2015 Season.
4. Hockey Alberta Summit – Banff AB – August 23-25/2013 – Darrell Wagner will attend.
5.Hockey Alberta AGM – June 14-16/2013 – Staff will attend and another other board members wanting to attend should let the office know so we can book rooms and register them.
6. NEAHL – meeting on April 13/2013 – Darrell Wagner to attend.
7. North Saskatchewan Female League Meeting – April 14/2013 in Rosetown Sask. – Darrell Wagner & Daryl Hanley will attend.
