PARTICULAR SPECIFICATIONS

Tendering procedures will be as set out in Regulation 82-109 and amendments thereto, a regulation under the Crown Construction Contracts Act filed July 1, 1982.
The Particular Specifications shall be read in conjunction with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Standard Specifications for Highway Construction dated January 2015 and the Standard Construction Contract (Articles of Agreement, Terms of Payment "A" and General Conditions "B").
It is the responsibility of all Bidders/Contractors to ensure that they have an up-to-date copy of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Standard Specifications for Highway Constructiondated January 2015 and the Standard Construction Contract (Articles of Agreement, Terms of Payment "A" and General Conditions "B") before tendering. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure assumes no responsibility to ensure that any Bidder/Contractor has a current copy of these documents.
Copies of any or all of the above documents are available from the Supply Chain Management Branch, Room 526, Fifth Floor, King Tower, Kings Place, P.O. Box 6000, Fredericton, N.B., E3B 5H1.
In interpreting the Contract in the event of discrepancies or conflicts between the Particular Specifications and the Standard Specificationsfor Highway Construction, the Particular Specificationsshall govern.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – Item 953 – Audited Safety Program - Please be advised that Bidders are required to submit a Certificate of Recognition (COR) or approved alternative in accordance with the provisions of Item 953. Tenders without certification at tender opening will be rejected.
The Contractor is advised that the Owner’s Work Area Traffic Control Manual (WATCM) has been revised. Revisions are effective as of January, 2016 and are posted on the Owner’s website(
