ACHS HAVES Program Student Financial Aid Application:
2016 Senior Graduation Expenses
Graduation from high school is an exciting time. ACHS is proud of all of its graduates and seeks to ensure that all students are able to participate in the graduation ceremony regardless of ability to pay for the required expenses.
This year the minimum costs will be:
Cap/Gown/Tassel= Paid to Jostens=$33.90 AND
Senior Fees=Paid to ACHS = $40
Total Cost to Participate in the Graduation Ceremony=$73.90
(Please note that these are two different expenses paid to two different organizations. Senior Fees are for a Diploma, Diploma Cover, Mini Diploma, Graduation Picture, Senior Breakfast, Parent Breakfast, and Security. After March 1, this fee will go up $10 per month.)
If a student cannot afford to pay for a cap and gown, he/she has the option to borrow a cap and gown from the ACHS HAVES program free of charge. Caps and gowns can be checked out from the school social worker, Kathy Jones, a month prior to graduation and turned back in after the ceremony on the day of graduation. (Students will be able to keep their tassel.) If a student wants to keep a cap and gown, then he/she must order it from Jostens and pay for it him/herself. If a student wants to borrow a cap and gown he/she needs to NOT order one from Jostens, and instead, turn in this form to Kathy Jones by March 1, 2016 to reserve a borrowed cap and gown.
