Amanda M. Neher

Senior Associate, Attorney at Law

Amanda joined Larrabee Albi Coker LLP in 2005 after pursuing internships and clerkships in criminal law and practicing briefly in real estate and property law. Amanda was drawn to the immigration legal field based on her desire to help others. Practice in employment-based immigration law allows her to support and guide foreign nationals through a complex legal system to reach their ultimate goal of becoming U.S. temporary and permanent residents.

As a Senior Associate Attorney, Amanda handles both nonimmigrant and immigrant matters for corporate clients and their foreign national employees in the high-technology industry, including the telecommunications, biotechnology and information technology sectors, as well as in the pharmaceutical, engineering, semiconductor, financial services and healthcare industries. She is responsible for corporate client management, as well as individual representation on family-based immigration matters and naturalization.

Amanda advises corporate clients and their foreign national employees on all aspects of employment-based immigration. She assists with temporary visa categories, with a focus on the H-1B, TN, E-1, E-2, E-3, H-3, B, L-1, O and P visa classifications. Amanda also counsels corporate clients on employment-based permanent residency options, such as labor certifications, the multinational executive/manager classification, extraordinary ability filings, outstanding researchers, and national interest waiver cases. Amanda is also experienced with the EB-5 Investor Visa Program.

In addition to the above, Amanda also routinely counsels corporate clients on various compliance issues, including I-9, E-Verify, and Public Access File regulatory requirements. She conducts mock audits of corporate records to assist in client compliance in these areas, as well as assists clients in developing best practices to aid in regulatory compliance.
