Salary: Scale 4-6 SP 18 – 28, FTE £18,070- £24,964 p.a. (£15,870 – £21,925 pro- rated)
Grade 4 post – Fixed term until 20th July in the first instance
Grade 6 post - Permanent
Contract: Term Time Only – 40 Weeks

TBAPNew Horizons AP Academy is a primary and secondary alternative provision that provides full-time education and support for up to 56 learners who are not accessing mainstream schools. We have an inclusive philosophy and believe passionately in giving every learner we meet many chances to succeed.
Ideally, we are seeking 2 Learning Support Professionals who have the competencies and abilities to facilitate learning and support our vulnerable learners within the school setting. You will be able to work alongside teachers and other LSP’s, engaging and supporting learners on a one-to-one or small group basis. You will be skilled at enabling learners to access their education and support them in overcoming their barriers. This job is about more than teaching. It’s about turning around the lives of vulnerable learners. Yes, it’s a big challenge, but it’s also an inspiring opportunity to work with young people with complex needs who require extra support to achieve their ambitions.
