After you have ordered your prescriptions it can now be electronically transmitted to a pharmacy of your choice.
This will save you time visiting the practice to collect the prescription and is a safer and more secure system.
What Do You Need To do?
Choose and pharmacy and ask them to register you with them as the Pharmacy of Choice – Its that simple
Over The Counter RemediesAs part of efforts to save NHS money GPs are encouraging patients to buy simple treatments from the chemist rather than having them prescribed

Your local pharmacists are highly skilled health professionals who are able to advise on treating everyday illnesses.

Disease, Immunosuppression,are a Carer or Pregnant.
Shingles VaccinationShingles is a common disease that can long lasting severe pain. This Autumn sees the introduction of a vaccination campaign for people aged 70 , 78 or79 years old.
The vaccine is free and will only need to be given once. The practice will be contacting all those patients eligible and it will be offered also in the flu clinics.

Patient Survey 2014We undertaking our annual Patient Survey.
We are going to be seeking your views about the services we provide and your experience when you visit the practice.
Your views are important to us. We are constantly looking at ways that we can improve what we do, with the feedback that you give us.
Repeat Dispensing
If you have a long term condition that requires repeat prescriptions and you have been taking a stable dose for the last 6 to 12 months then you may be able to have Repeat Dispensing of your repeat prescriptions – that is 6 months of repeat prescriptions sent to the pharmacy of your choice that you may collect directly from
the pharmacist without the need to order your
prescription from the surgery over the 6 months. At your next appointment ask your doctor or nurse for information.
Patient ParticipationAs a result of The Health & Social Care Act 2012 the NHS is seeing one of its most radical reorganisations in its history.

Coventry Rugby Commissioning Group – Patient Involvement
The CCG who commission health services in Coventry are constantly seeking the views of the patient community. You can find out more information on how you can be involved from the link below.
Friends and Family TestFrom 1st December the practice has implemented the Friends and Family Test. It asks if people would recommend the services they have used at the practice and for ideas and experiences.
The feedback gathered through the FFT will be used by the practice to support improvement of services and empower staff to carry out the sorts of changes that make a real difference to patients and their care.
The practice will publish results on a monthly basis to our patients through our website, notice boards, newletters and NHS Choices and discussed with the Patient Participation Group.
Booking AppointmentsOnline Appointments Booking!
We have introduced an Online Appointments Booking Service. This will allow you to book and cancel appointments with the practice on the internet.
You will need to register with the practice to access this service.
When your account has been opened and activated you will be able to book appointments with doctors, view existing appointments and cancel your appointments booked online.
For more information please contact our reception staff.
For those patients who do not wish to use this service the normal arrangements of telephoning the surgery for an appointment remain in place.
May we also bring to your attention that in order to ensure the practice runs as efficiently as possible if patients arrive more than 10 minutes late they may be asked to book another appointment time.
Your SecurityFollowing patient feedback the surgery has now installed a CCTV system monitoring all internal and exterior areas of the surgery. Recordings will be used for security purposes. A copy of our CCTV Monitoring policy and procedure is available on request.
