Key Account Developer

As a Key Account Developer you are responsible for the building and deploying of specific Instrumentation & Controls solutions (equipment delivery for new built, maintenance and service of new and existing plants, research reactors etc) in China to achieve the overall goal of meeting and exceeding business revenue targets .
Key accountabilities
-Manage the relationship with current customers : the Key Account Developer maintains strong links with the customer through frequent site visits. He/she must understand the customer ‘s business in order to improve its competitive position, promote profitable solutions that meet the customer’s expectations and are aligned with the company’s strategy
-Source new customers, then initiate and develop relationships
-Manage the relationship with local sub-contractors in compliance with the Chinese Government localization policies
-Proactively anticipate bids
-Drive forward quotations and negotiations at all levels (technical, price, legal) in collaboration with the Customer Business Manager .
-Manage and motivate the team of local representatives
-Gather competitive intelligence on nuclear market trends in order to assess business drivers, and identify opportunities to extend the business in the region.
-Report monthly to the Customer Business Manager and attend meetings as necessary (China, France, UK)
-Act in compliance with the Company’s vision and values at all times
Profile
Candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years experience in sales activities and contract negotiation of a value in excess of 10 Million Dollars, within the nuclear sectorand ideally in the field of Instrumentation & Controls . They must be able to demonstrate in depth business process knowledge coupled with strong negotiation/persuasion skills and sense of initiative. We are looking for an excellent communicator with energy, enthusiasm, assertiveness and resilience. Personal attributes will also include the ability to motivate others, together with excellent task planning/organisational skills.
An Engineering degree (Master level) is required, ideally completed with /by an MBA.
Fluency in written and spoken Czech (to native standard) as well as fluent English is required. Knowledge of French a plus.
