___ Winterize and Service Inboard / Stern Drive ($310 +Mat.). Run / flush engine with fresh water, purge with non-alcohol non-toxic anti-freeze, fog engine. Run engine on winter mix fuel system winterizer. Service engine with oil, oil filter, fuel filter / water separator change. Stabilize fuel. Spray engine with corrosion guard corrosion inhibitor.

___ Remove, Store outdrive; ($65 for single prop drives, $75 for dual prop drives). Inspect Gimbal bearing, u-joints, u-joint shaft, condition of rubber bellows, etc. Store outdrive in-shop for winter.

___ Full Outdrive Service (All Volvo and MerCruiser outdrives $290 +Mat.). Split outdrive, thoroughly clean, treat and paint (anti-foulant) internal sea water passages. Install new water pump impeller and gaskets (Alpha). Clean speedometer pick-up and tube. Reassemble, treat, paint outdrive, replace anodes, remove and service prop and prop shaft. Drain, inspect gear oil, pressure test outdrive (to check oil seal integrity), refill with synthetic gear oil. Store outdrive in-shop. Price does not include removal or reinstallation. This service is recommended annually.

___ Diesel Engines Winterized and Serviced at Shop Labor Rate ($95/hr. + Mat.). Same service and procedures as listed above.

___ Outboard Winterizing; Run / flush engine with fresh water while running on winter-mix (fuel system winterizer), purge with non-alcohol non-toxic anti-freeze. Service engine with oil and filter change (4-stroke), fuel filter / water separator change. Service lower unit with gear lube and pressure test (to check oil seal integrity). Our spring and summer months get extremely busy.If your commissioning contract (or commissioning email) is not submitted by April 1st, we cannot guarantee your boat will be ready for launch on Memorial Day.

  1. Environmental Responsibility. It is understood that Fairhaven Marine Service, Inc. is an environmentally friendly company and enforces pollution prevention procedures. All authorized service work is subject to hazardous material handling / discharge fee.
  2. Further Work. All terms and conditions of this agreement shall be applicable to any further work done, or services provided, for the vessel now or in the future. Whether under this agreement, or subsequent oral, written agreement or otherwise.
  3. Attorney’s Fees. Owner shall pay shop’s reasonable attorney’s fees and costs incurred in any dispute or legal proceeding arising from non-payment.
  4. Invoicing. Will be mailed / emailed weekly and are due when rendered. A service charge of 3% per month will be added to any balance that is 30 days past due and subsequent 30 day periods.
