On Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 1:00 a.m., Martin police arrested Leslie May-Witt Age 18 of Sunrise Housing for driving under the influence of drugs, ingestion of marijuana and possession of marijuana under two ounces.

At approximately 12:45 a.m., Officer Charles Hunter halted a vehicle being operated by May-Witt for speeding and additional motor vehicle violations on 1st Avenue and Highway 18. May-Witt was arrested and later transported to the Winner jail. She is scheduled to appear at the Bennett County Court to answer the charge.

On Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:45 p.m., Martin Police and the Bennett County Sheriff’s office arrested Moses Dubray Age 28 of Allen, South Dakota on a Bennett County arrest warrant for third degree burglary and a Pennington County warrant for failure to appear for domestic simple assault.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., Sheriff Lucas Hamar, Assistant Chief Richard Cummings, Officer Charles Hunter and Officer Nathan Dittbenner responded to the Swett Bar after receiving an anonymous call that Dubray was on the premises. Officers arrested Dubray without incident and he was later transported to the Winner Jail. On Monday, December 17, 2012, Martin police obtained an arrest warrant for Dubray for first degree burglary, conspiracy to commit first degree burglary, receiving stolen goods, aggravated eluding of a police officer, reckless driving and contributing to the delinquency of a minor stemming from an incident on December 13, 2012 in the City of Martin. Dubray is being served with the warrant at the Winner jail and is scheduled to appear at the Bennett County Court to answer the charge.

On Monday, December 17, 2012 at 5:15 a.m., Martin police arrested Katie Poor Thunder Age 19 of 503 Stover Street Martin, SD on a Hughes County Warrant for failure to appear for motor vehicle violations.

At approximately 5:00 a.m., Officer Nathan Dittbenner responded to the Crossroads Motel for a report of an assault and contacted Poor Thunder who was found to have a warrant. She was arrested and transported to the Winner jail.
