Attention: All Breed Classes must be registered with their Association and must be
Current financial members. If not, disqualification will occur. Papers checked at
Random.
Regulations:
Post entries on the day: Tickets to be purchased from the Horse Ticket Office. No
Refunds on unused tickets.
Disputes: The judge’s decision in all cases will be final. Disputes MUST be made in
Writing and lodged with a deposit of $20.00 within one (1) hour. Money will be refunded
If dispute is found in favour of competitor lodging same.
Dress: All competitors must be suitably attired and must conduct themselves in an orderly
Manner at all times.
Stallions and Colts: Stallions and Colts must be led by a stallion bar, chain or bit when
Required and may only compete in those classes as set out for Stallions and Colts. Handler
Must be aged 17 years or over.
Judges: The Committee reserves the right to substitute a judge if deemed necessary and
To delete or combine any class as required.
Alteration to events: No event may be changed for any reason by anyone without the
Permission of the FULL COMMITTEE and THE RINGMASTER.
Awards: Champion and Reserve Champion Awards may be made at the discretion of the
Judge.
Novice: One who has not won a first prize at an Agricultural Show.
Intermediate: One who has not placed first, second or third at a Royal Show.
Consolation: One who has not yet placed at a show.
Local Exhibitor: Rider and mount must reside within Lake Macquarie City.
Pleasure Hack: To be ridden in a snaffle bit. No spurs or nosebands allowed.
Amateur Owner Classes: For those who have not derived any income from teaching,
Training or riding horses for other people or showing for other people during the past
Three years.
Best Newcomer: Horses three years and over who have not competed under saddle prior
To January 2013. Must be ridden in a snaffle bit.
Horses that compete in Show Hunter Classes are not eligible to also compete
