Senior Diary
The senior diary is a project which will result in a keepsake of your senior year.
Diary Requirements
1. Each page of the diary must be neat and attractive in appearance with a border around the page to allow binding. Pages may be enclosed in sheet covers or glued in a scrapbook. Pages must be at least 8 ½ by 11 standard sheets.
2. Each page of the diary must contain grammatically correct sentences in mechanically correct, paragraph form. A minimum of 150 words regarding the student’s personal view of an event, concerns, or issues will be typed on each page. Only one side of a paper may be used.
3. Each page must have a colorful illustration, souvenir, photo, brochure, ticket, memorabilia, or scrapbooking art. Illustrations may be drawn, downloaded, or attached, and may be any size that fits in the booklet. The best illustrations are personal and not generic and unrelated to the student.
4. Diary entries must include the following:
a. current event
b. political news
c. party (prom, winter formal, homecoming, birthday, etc.)
d. holidays
e. theater, movie, television, concert
f. sporting events

The writing should be autobiographical. How did you personally relate to these events throughout your senior year?
5. The final diary must contain a minimum of 15 pages that are neatly bound. The cover should be attractive and contain the student’s name and the year. Neither staples nor paper clips may be used to hold the pages together. Covers made out of notebook paper are not acceptable. A report folder or scrapbook is suggested.
