We currently have trading relationships with leading online channels including all Amazon / eBay platforms throughout the world as well as in depth knowledge of the Shopify eCommerce engine. As a company, we are highly entrepreneurial and seek to dominate a global eCommerce advisory position.
Job Overview
With a team of 9 staff and a growing vendor base, Vyper is looking for an experienced individual to manage and support the growth of our client (vendor) base to achieve revenue growth of 100% per annum. The primary tasks are:
- Daily contact with clients to agree priorities and deliverables
- Internal communication with all invested colleagues, to ensure the workload is delivered in good order and on time
- Ensuring all Vyper services are being offered and maximized with our clients
- Reaching out to new clients, and onboarding
With a varied list of clients from different industries, the account manager will need to work hard to keep up with the demands as well as strengthen our relationships with current vendors. Equally they will need to demonstrate collaborative working with the team, to ensure we are developing the business to our potential.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Day to day management of client: Ownership of the relationship with the client, ensuring all communication and workload is managed in line with agreed service levels
- Service management: Ensuring that all the Vyper services are being offered and fulfilled with the client. This will involve communication and team management to ensure the client is well served
- Communication within the office: As manager of the client relationship it is the responsibility of the account manager to ensure all invested parties are communicated with, workload and timelines are verified
- Business travel: Appropriate business travel is required to ensure the relationship with clients is optimised
- Retailer and E-Comm platform management: Ensuring the products are set up, working and available for all the customers on all retail environments
- Knowledge of Business environment: A thorough knowledge of E-Commerce, market leading businesses, services available; with the ability to improve our business
- Drive innovation: Develop an in-depth knowledge of the clients practices and drive innovation to improve efficiencies and increase their business. In turn increase our business
- Vyper will provide full training and support so that the successful applicant can excel in the role, and in return contribute to developing and supporting the wider teams
Entry requirements
Vyper would expect a qualified candidate to have spent at least two years in an account manager position in a relevant business sector, this being E-commerce, Retail, or Vendor management.
Great inter-personal skills and a good communicator
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
