RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. No Claims will be entertained for anything that may happen to

Competitors, their servants, onlookers, horses, vehicles or property in

connection with, or arising from, this event and it shall be a condition

of entry that each entrant shall indemnify the Committee and

Berkshire College of Agriculture against any legal action arising from

any mishap.

2. The Judge’s decision is final in all events.

3. No horses or ponies under the age of 4 years may be ridden in any

class or on the Showground.

4. The Committee reserve the right to refuse or reject any entry and to

amend or cancel any class at their discretion.

5.  No entry fee will be refunded unless a class is cancelled or a

Doctor’s or Veterinary Surgeon’s Certificate is produced, dated no

later than the Monday immediately following the Show advertised in

this schedule.

6. Any complaints must be written out and handed to the Secretary of

the Show within 15 minutes of the incident, accompanied by a fee of

£20, which will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.

6.  Correctly fitted Hard Hats must be worn. It is recommended that they comply to PAS 015, BSEN1384, VG1 01.040 2014-12 provided they have BSI Kite Mark or ASTM F1163 2004a or 04a onwards SEI marked SNELL E2001 with three point fastening secured MUST be worn at all times when mounted or the competitor may be eliminated and/or asked to leave the showground. No jewellery or piercings to be worn.

7.  BACK PROTECTORS ARE COMPULSORY.

8. Riders are requested to ride sensibly at all times.

9. All attendees are reminded that rudeness or bad behaviour will not be tolerated

at our shows and events and if doing so, the person or persons may be asked to

leave the venue.

10. A FEE OF £4 PER RIDER IS REQUESTED TO FUND FIRST AID COVER. Please

add this on the Entry Form.

·  Please take your litter home. We are not allowed to leave any mess in the car or lorry parks so please help us to keep the area clean and tidy. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.

·  We also wish to thank our Judge, Course Builder and volunteers without whose invaluable help we would not able to run this event.

RULES
The Competition will be a series of portable cross country fences and knock down fences. There will be a timed section to decide placings.

The Committee of the High Wycombe Riding Club wish to thank Berkshire College of Agriculture for allowing us to hold this event. Please respect the venue and leave the area in a clean and tidy state as we are fined for any mess left in the box park. We wish all competitors a most enjoyable and successful day.

CLASS THREE NOVICE JUMPING

Horse and Rider combination not to have won a total of £50 in any hunter trial jumping competition. Height approx. 80cm

ENTRY FEE Members £12.00, Day-Members £16.00

CLASS FOUR NOVICE PAIRS

Height approx 80cm speed 325 mpm

CLASS FIVE INTERMEDIATE JUMPING

Horse and Rider combination not to have won over £100 in any hunter trial competition. Height approx. 90cm

DRESS CODE

Competitors may wear Cross Country colours, Hunting Dress or Ratcatcher (Tweed Hacking Jacket). No jewellery/piercings to be worn, for safety purposes. Back protectors must be worn.
