Auditions for Graduation Performances
Graduating seniors have the opportunity to participate in the commencement ceremony by being part of a musical performance or giving a student speech. Students must audition for these roles. The general guidelines for the performances are as follows:
- Students must audition the exact material they intend to perform at graduation.
- Students must sign up for audition times prior to the audition date. See the form below for specific dates.
- Students will only be allowed to audition once-either for a speech or a musical performance, or for only one musical performance.
- All members of a musical group or ensemble must be present at the audition.
- A speech must be the student’s original work.
- Student speeches must be submitted in writing prior to the audition date. See the form below for specific dates.
- A committee will evaluate the auditions and make a recommendation to the principal regarding the commencement performances. The principal will make the final decision on the selection of student participants.
