NOTICE OF VACANCY

HEAD COACH- WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY

School Features:

· Approximately 1800 students in grades 9-12

· School currently has a B rating from Indiana Department of Education

· School is located in southwest Marion County

Program Features:

· Member of Mid-State Conference with Franklin, Greenwood, Martinsville, Mooresville, Perry Meridian, Plainfield, and Whiteland

· Member of IHSAA Sectional 17(Avon, Bethesda Christian, Brownsburg, Cascade, Cloverdale, Danville Community, Decatur Central, Greencastle, North Putnam, Plainfield, South Putnam, Tri-West Hendricks)

· Two certified athletic trainers on staff

· Great facilities; including state of the art weight room, Armstrong (Indoor) Pavilion, athletic annex building, main competition gym, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, team meeting room/classroom/offices, and a Field-Turf multi-purpose field.

Qualifications:

· Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred

· Currently possess or has ability to obtain IHSAA coaching certification

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

· Knowledge of fundamental Cross Country skills/training

· Ability to form positive relationships with student-athletes, school staff, and community members

· Ability to organize, supervise, and administer all phases of an education-based Cross Country program
