Visa for UBTIC participants

  1. Complete your online Visa Application Form at

All participants should apply for a “Business Visa”. Make sure you indicate attendance at UBTIC as the reason for travel.

  1. Print the completed Visa Application Form (2 copies), sign them and glue a passport-size picture on each copy.
  1. Submit the Visa Application Form (2 copies), passport plus a copy (ALL pages including blank) to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London.

Applicants are entitled to submit and collect their documents IN PERSON, BY POST or VIA COURIER.

If applying by POST, applicants need to include, with the application, a self-addressed pre-paidSPECIAL DELIVERYenvelope for return postage.

If applying via COURIER, which will submit and collect documents to/from the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in London, applicants are responsible for providing visa/courier companies with ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS.

In case you need your original passport for other trips, you can apply for the visa without submitting your original passport, ifyou submit Visa Application Form (2 copies) and copy of the passport (ALL pages including blank).

All visas are issued upon receiptof payment confirmationonly (receipt/pay slip either a scan, a photo or a PDF file or a screenshotfrom applicant’s online bank) sent to thisemail. Fee for a 7-day visa is £51 (fee for URGENT 7-day visa is £67).

Processing ofvisa applications take up to 10 working days (up to 5 working days for URGENT visas).

While making bank transfer, applicant must indicate his name and surname as a reference

-BANK PAYMENT SLIP

Applicants may obtain a BANK SLIP from the Consular Section. Usually, BANK SLIPS are issued once all procedures are completed and visa is ready for collection. Nearest Barclays Bank branch is located at 35 Notting Hill Gate, London W11 3JQ.

-POSTAL ORDER

Applicants can make a payment using Royal Mail’s postal order payable to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London.

Travel & Hotel

Your attendance at the event is FREE. Translation for the UBTIC Plenary Session and group meetings will be provided. However, companies are responsible for their own travel arrangements and costs, including visa fees, flights, accommodation, transportation and translation cost for individual meetings in/outside of Tashkent. British Embassy in Tashkent[1] can provide the list of recommended interpreters.

The British Embassy will arrange local coach travel for Wednesday, November 16 including airport pick up. Those arriving on flights other than this will make their own transfers. Taxis can be arranged through hotel this costs about US$25.
