Prerequisite Evaluation Form
A minimum of 36 semester credits in French, the equivalent of a major, is required. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 overall and in French is expected of all applicants. As part of your application to the Master of Science in Secondary Education Program, please complete this form to the best of your ability and include it with your application.
The courses listed below are examples of the kinds of courses that would fulfill the requirements drawn from the Undergraduate Bulletin at the University at Albany. These courses or their equivalents should be a minimum of 3 credits each unless otherwise noted. A minimum of 18 of the 36 credits should be completed at or above the 300 level with at least one three-credit course at or above the 400 level. In some cases, applicants are admitted with deficiencies in their prerequisites which they are required to fulfill before completing the program.
