US History- 4The New Deal Agencies Poster Due Friday
Task: You and a partner will work to create a poster regarding a New Deal agency/program to share with the class on Friday. You must have the information memorized.
Directions: You will have one day in the computer lab to work on your poster. For homework you should start organizing your notes and find at least one source about your program or agency to bring to class with you on Wednesday
- What were components of your agency or program?
- What did the program or agency do for the American people?
- Who was served by the program or agency?
- Was the agency/program a success or failure? Be sure to explain whether or not the agency continues to exist today.
- Explain whether the agency was capitalistic or socialistic in nature. Look back to previous notes on characteristics of capitalism and socialism.
- Predict whether or not another approach or program may have been more successful. If another program might have been more successful what would it look like?
- Find at least one picture of the agency and a political cartoon if possible
