2.2  BOSCH MIC SERIES 440 EXPLOSION-PROTECTED CAMERA

A.  General Requirements:

1.  [The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall be a MIC Series 440 PTZ camera rated to IP68 / NEMA 4x with a high resolution 18x true day/night camera.]

2.  [The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall be a MIC Series 440 PTZ camera rated to IP68 / NEMA 4x with a high resolution 36x true day/night camera.]

3.  The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall be environmentally rated to IP68 / NEMA 4x.

1.  The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall supply video, power and telemetry through a multi-core cable.

1.  18x Camera Module

a.  The camera module shall feature a 1/4-inch Exview CCD.

b.  The camera module shall be a true day/night unit.

c.  The camera module shall switch from day mode (color) to night mode (monochrome) via a photocell integrated into the PTZ camera head that can be set to user selectable levels, or via a remote keyboard.

d.  The camera module shall have a resolution of 470 TVL (NTSC/PAL).

e.  The camera module shall have an 18x optical zoom with 12x digital zoom.

f.  The camera module shall have a minimum illumination sensitivity of

5.  The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall have 64 sector titles, each with 20 characters.

6.  The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall have the ability to select a home position.

F.  Electrical Design and Performance

1.  Total power consumption of the standard camera shall be no more than 25.2 W.

2.  The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall have available a Bosch power supply providing +18 VDC from one of the following input voltages:

a.  24 VAC

b.  115 VAC

c.  240 VAC

3.  The explosion-protected PTZ camera shall be fitted with control PCB’s including a control processor, voltage regulator, brushless motor drives.
