Dear Colleagues!

We are pleased to invite you to the IV International Scientific Conference “Language and Culture”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Georgian Poet Lado Asatiani

Conference will encompass the following fields:

  • Grammar – Modern conditions, development trends (Morphology, Syntax);
  • Language interaction in the modern world;
  • Methodological and Gnoseological problems of modern linguistics;
  • Functional and cognitive research of Language Semantics and Grammar;
  • Lexicological problems;
  • Mythological and folklore motifs;
  • The language of contemporary art;
  • Linguocultural interpretation of text;
  • Language and archeology;
  • Translation and intercultural communications;
  • National languages and culture, their specificity and interrelations;
  • Fiction and its cultural context;
  • Theory and Methodology of Journalism;
  • Methods of teaching humanitarian disciplines;
  • Theory and Practice of Journalism

The conference includes plenary and sectional sessions.

Conference Languages: Georgian, English and Russian.

Time limit:

Presentation - 15 minutes

Discussion – 5 minutes

Making a report

Distant participation

The Organizing Committee will select the conference papers. The conference papers will be published.

After receiving a notification of acceptancethe applicant should pay the conference fee $100 (For Participants from abroad), $50 (For Distant Participants), 100 GEL for local participants. The fee should be transferred to the bank account.

Travel and hotel expenses - at the expense of the participants;

The cultural program and excursion - at the expense of the organizing committeeof the conference.

Conference application should be submitted by e-mail to ;mananamikadze@ yahoo.com; by January 10th, 2017.

Upon receiving a notification of acceptanceby 20thof January, applicants should send the paper and pay the conference fee until January 25, 2017.

Conference published manuscript will be delivered during the conference; distant participants will receive the manuscript by post.

  6. Refer to authors in the following way: აკაკი წერეთელი,А.С.Пушкин, Н.Я.Марр, А.Белый, Вл.Соловьев, Вяч.Иванов.
