A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory of Frank A. Yost.
WHEREAS, it seems appropriate from time to time for this honorable body to reflect upon the contributions of special individuals who have enriched the lives of many people in the Commonwealth of Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, Frank A. Yost has traversed these earthly bounds; and
WHEREAS, Frank A. Yost was a nationally known grain-milling executive and Hopkinsville civic leader; and
WHEREAS, Frank A. Yost was chairman of the board and former president of Hopkinsville Milling Company, where he worked and prospered more than 63 years; and
WHEREAS, Frank A. Yost went above and beyond the call of duty to be active in statewide civic affairs, where he was president of the Kentucky Association for Mental Health, and a member of the Hopkinsville school board; and
WHEREAS, Frank A. Yost was a former chairman of the Millers National Federation, the old Kentucky Millers Association, and Kentucky Wesleyan College's board of trustees; and
WHEREAS, he is survived by his three daughters, Elizabeth R. Yost Lea, Anne Yost Harper, and Frances Yost Knight; and four grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, as each sunset bears the promise of morning, and each raindrop the promise of a blossom, so does a departure from this life bring with it the promise of eternal life, and this thought should be a solace and comfort to us in times of grief and loss;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in remembrance of Frank A. Yost and extends heartfelt sympathy to his family.
Section 2. This honorable body recognizes the joy and love that Frank A. Yost brought to both his family and community.
Section 3. This honorable body further recognizes the years of service and dedication that Frank A. Yost extended to the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Section 4. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this resolution to the family of Frank A. Yost, 506 Deep Wood Drive, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240.
