Terms and Conditions

Payment Terms

A deposit of £449 is required to secure an evening or event booking.A driving license or credit card is required as a deposit at the start of the event and returned at the end of event. This is simply because we have had the odd group who mistook the catering table for a dance floor et voila! All bookings must be paid for in full 1 week prior to the event. Cheques are payable to Warwick BoatsLtd. Any questions please give us a call.

Self Catering

We supply BBQ fuel and access to kitchen area for 2 to 4 people from your group. This is limited due to the size of the area and for security reasons.

All self-catered events are responsible for their own tidying up and food hygiene. The site must be left clean and tidy at the end of the party in order to reopen at 9 am the following day. A hot barbecue pit cannot be left unattended and must be supervised by an adult at all times. All rubbish including drinks cans and bottles, cigarette ends and disposal plates and cutlery must be put into black bags and placed in garbage area.

Any cooking utensils/serving plates etc. borrowed from us must be washed and dried after use. We will dispose of BBQ coals once cooled.

Vehicle Access

We can allow 1 vehicle access to the site for preparations usually from 4.30pm.

Boat Hire

You have booked boat hire for a maximum no of people or boats. Any additional guests or boats cannot be permitted without booking in advance. In the event of unknown extra guests arriving please inform the duty supervisor. All boats have to be back by dusk or 9.30pm whichever is the earlier. Return time is at the discretion of the supervisor on duty. Boat Hire is subject to terms and conditions at end of this page.

Music

Music is permitted but the volume is at our discretion due to disputes with neighbors. The music must finish by 10.30 pm.

Closing

Under the terms of our lease we must end parties at 10.30pm and vacate the park and premises by 11.00 p.m. at the latest.

Intimidating Behavior or Violence

I don’t like having to put this here but such is our day and age. No one who is intoxicated is allowed out on boats. Violence or intimidating behavior is not tolerated towards any of our staff. Any such behavior will immediately render the booking canceled with no refund due and the police will be called. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure you and your guests have a great evening!

Rules of the river

1)Buoyancy aids are available to all hirers, and must be worn by: anyone age 13 and under, all weak or non-swimmers, anyone hiring a canoe kayak or SUP.

2) Customers must not embark or disembark on any boat without a member of staff to assist them. Staff members can be identified by their blue uniform.

3). All boats must travel on the right hand side of the river in the direction they are traveling.

4). Hirers are responsible for the safe and reasonable use of the craft. Only the maximum number of passengers stated on the craft are permitted. People are advised not to stand up in the boat.

5). Please look in front and behind you before turning on the river. Please allow racing boats right of way.

6). Please do not disturb or harass the wildlife nor drop any litter in the river.

Hire Terms and Conditions.

1). All craft are let at HIRER’S risk and responsibility for damage done to craft or property during hire, howsoever caused, is at HIRER’S risk. Deposits will be held against cost of any damage to craft or equipment and costs incurred due to loss of hire.

2). Hirer’s must notify us immediately of any damage or loss of craft or equipment. Craft must not be left unattended.

4). A Deposit is required for the craft. Whole or part of this deposit is liable to be forfeited in the event of damage to the craft or equipment.

5). The signing of the party booking form for the hire is deemed to acknowledge acceptance of these and any other terms of business, which may be displayed in the boathouse premises.

6). Expenses incurred for collection of craft not returned to the boathouse will be chargeable, including loss of hire.

7). Craft returned unfit for re-hire (i.e. very muddy and dirty) are subject to a cleaning charge minimum of £5 maximum £15.
8). The minimum age to hire any craft is 18 years of age.

9). During the hire of craft any personal belongings left here are left entirely at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any loss.
10). All customer transactions are recorded on CCTV for security purposes.

11). Warwick Boats Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage to clothing or personal property that arise from the hire or boats or the event.
