WORKED AS A Senior Research Fellow (SRF) IN THE PROJECT ENTITLED“IMPACT, ADAPTATION AND VULNERABILITY OF INDIAN AGRICULTURE TO CLIMATE CHANGE” SPONSORED BY INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH (GOVT OF INDIA)IN THE DEPARTMENT OF AGROMETEOROLOGY,BIDHAN CHANDRA KRISI VISWAVIDYALYA (BCKV) FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR SIX MONTHS.
ALSO WORKED AS A Senior Research Fellow (SRF) IN THE PROJECT NAMED “FORECASTING AGRICULTURAL OUTPUT USING SPACE, AGROMETEOROLOGY AND SATELLITE BASED LAND OBSERVATION ” (FASAL) FUNDED BY INDIA METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT (GOVT. TRAINING:
Participated in the five days Advanced Training Programme on DSSAT-Rice Model conducted under AICRPAM-NICRA at Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad, during 17-21 January 2013.
Also take part in thenine days Training Programme on “Basic aspect of Agrometeorology and weather-based Agromet Advisory Service System” conducted by AICRPAM-NICRA project, BCKV and sponsored by CRIDA, Hyderabad during 25th February to 6th March, 2013 held at Farmers, Training Hall (Lake Hall), BCKV, and WestBengal. The Programme consisted lectures, demonstrations, discussions and practical exercises on Agrometeorology.

Attended seminar named “Chronic Arsenicosis- A Public Health Concern in West Bengal” organised by Department of Environmental Science, University of Kalyani on 12th January, 2010.

Participated and presented poster on “Evaluating Performance of Rice Under Elevated Carbon Di Oxide and Temperature Condition Through DSSAT Model” in the National Seminar on “Agrometeorological Research & Services to Combat Climate Change Challenges”, jointly organised by Association of Agrometeorologists and Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya held at Farmers, Training Hall (Lake Hall), BCKV during December 9th-10th, 2011.
Attended and give oral presentation on “Distribution of Ground Reaching Global & Diffuse Solar Radiation Over Kalyani, West Bengal” at International Conference on “Engineering Education in the New Century” organized by Sir J.C. A paper was published entitled “Distribution of Ground Reaching Global and Diffuse Solar Radiation Over kalyani, West Bengal” authored by R. Bhattacharya, G.Biswas, S.Pal, P.Barman and S.Das in Proceedings of International Conference On Engineering Education In The New Century (E2NC-2012).
Short Communication entitled "Detecting future yield of Bororice in different stations of West Bengal using DSSAT model" has been communicated in the Journal of Agrometeorology.
