Replacing Battery
When the low battery symbol shows on the LCD display (6), open the Battery door (8) at the back, replace the exhausted battery with 2 pieces of new alkaline “AAA” batteries, and then close it.
Setting Normal Time
After inserting new batteries into the unit, the clock starts to enter the radio controlled clock mode. The LCD display (6) initially shows:
-L 0-5 receiving signal strength, 5 indicates signal level OK 0-4 signal weak
-00-59 second counting
-OFF: Alarm off mode
-The receiving tower symbol starts to blink. IT indicates that the unit has entered the time signal-receiving mode.
-If this unit is within the signal area,
After receiving all signals successfully, the clock shows the correct time and starts to work. The blinking receiving tower symbol becomes steady. The clock will receive the time signal once a day to auto-adjust the clock at midnight.
-If this unit is out of the signal area
Press MODE button (1) once, the clock changes to normal clock mode and keeps running incorrectly. To set the correct time, hold SET button (5) for 2 seconds to enter set mode.
Year/Month/Date SETTING
-The LCD display (6) shows the year digits are flashing, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the year.
-Press MODE button (1) to flash the month digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the month.
-Press MODE button (1) once again to flash the date digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the date.
-Press MODE button (1) once again to finish the setting or press SET button (5) once to continue time setting.
Time Setting
-After entering set mode, press SET button (5) once to flash the hour digits, then pres up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the hour.
-Press MODE button (1) once to flash the minute digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the minute.
-Press MODE button (1) once again to finish the time setting or press SET button (5) to continue alarm time setting.
Setting Alarm Time
To set alarm1 time:
-Hold SET button (5) for 2 seconds to enter set mode, press SET button (5) twice to show the alarm 1 symbol and flash the alarm hour digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the alarm 1 hour.
-Press MODE button (1) once to flash the alarm minute digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set alarm1 minutes.
-Press MODE button (1) once again to finish alarm1 setting (all digits steady) or press SET button (5) to continue alarm2 setting.
To set alarm2 time:
-Hold SET button (5) for 2 seconds to enter set mode, press SET button (5) three times to show the alarm 2 symbol and flash the alarm hour digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set alarm2 hour.
-Press MODE Button (1) once to flash the alarm minute digits, then press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set alarm2 minutes.
-Press MODE button (1) once again to finish aolarm2 setting (all digits steady) or press SET button (5) to continue zone setting.
Setting Alarm ON/OFF
To set alarm 1 ON:
Press ALARM 1 button (2) until the display shows both the alarm time and the alarm 1 symbol. Press MODE button (1) until it returns to normal month and date display.
To set alarm 1 OFF:
Press ALARM 1 button (2) until the display shows both the words ‘OFF’ and the alarm 1 symbol. Press MODE button (1) until it returns to normal month and date display.
To set alarm 2 ON:
Press ALARM 2 button (4) until the display shows both the alarm time and the alarm 2 symbol. Press MODE button (1) until it returns to normal month and date display.
To set alarm 2 OFF:
Press ALARM 2 button (4) until the display shows both the words ‘OFF’ and the alarm 2 symbol. Press MODE button (1) until it returns to normal month and date display.
Wake to Alarm:
The alarm will be on for 2 minutes automatically when the preset alarm time is reached.
Snooze:
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (7) once within 2 minutes (or 2 minutes later, the alarm will stop automatically) to stop the alarm temporarily and give you extra 8 minutes sleep. Within this period, the symbol ‘SNOOZE’ shows on the LCD display (6). After 8 minutes, the alarm will be on again. It will repeat if you press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (7) again within 2 minutes.
To stop the alarm:
To stop it permanently, pressing any buttons once except for SNOOZE/LIGHT button (7) or just waiting for 2 minutes (it will stop automatically).
Selecting 1-5 Alarm/ 1-7 Alarm
Press 1-5/1-7 Alarm button (3) to select from the 1-5 (Monday-Friday) or 1-7 (Monday-Sunday) alarm.
Back Light Reading
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (7) once, the LCD display (6) will be lighted up for 5 seconds each time.
Setting Time Zone for USA
Hold SET button (5) for 2 seconds to enter set mode. Press SET button (5) four times to enter zone setting mode. The LCD display (6) shows the map is flashing, press up (2) or down (4) buttons to select the time zone for your desired location. Press MODE button (1) once, then press up (2) or down (4) to set on/off daylight saving time.
Press MODE button (1) once again, and press up (2) or down (4) buttons to set the hour offset from -12 to + 12 hours.
Press MODE button (1) to complete zone setting and return to normal clock display mode, or press SET button (5) to end setting.

This clock is designed as a consumer use item, NOT a scientific instrument. The success of time reception is not guaranteed, subject to the condition of the environment and the distance from the signal source. This clock is designed for indoor use only.
