Responsibilities
ÿ  Provide the leadership to keep the store focused on associate development and training
ÿ  Encourage associates to take some initiative for their own development
ÿ  Manage all in-store training activities
ÿ  Monitor and track the training progress of all in-store associates
ÿ  Communicate regularly with the Store Manager and Human Resources with training progress and/or issues
ÿ  Attend Training Coordinator meetings
Development Plans
ÿ  Initiate and monitor the progress of all associate’s development plans
ÿ  Be involved with the Store Manager in recognizing associates upon completion of a development plan
ÿ  Work with the Store Manager to schedule times for associates to work on their development plan or other milestone
Administrative
ÿ  Update any paperwork weekly to reflect any training and report to Human Resources: checklists, etc…
ÿ  Strive for excellence with the New Employee Orientation: checklists, paperwork, Elder’s School, etc… Get new associates off to a great start!
ÿ  Monitor and input tests/scores in Ace Learning Place
Tools and Equipment
ÿ  Training notebook: checklists, seminar/course summaries, development plans
ÿ  PC with high-speed internet connection
