1.General Instructions

1.1The NHS Genomic Laboratory Services Service Specification and related Annexes ("Service Specification") that have been provided along with this stakeholder engagement response document are in draft form only. NHS England shall consider the responses provided in line with the below template, when updating the Service Specification.

1.2The purpose of this document is for stakeholders to provide feedback on the draft Service Specification. Set out below is a template for the stakeholder to document its feedback, in relation to each section of the Service Specification. Comments should focus upon:

1.2.1Areas where you feel there are gaps / missing information;

1.2.2Requirements that you feel need further clarification; and

1.2.3Requirements that you feel require further detail.

1.3The documents that NHS England is seeking feedback are as follows:

1.3.1NHS Genomic Laboratory Services Service Specification; and

1.3.2Annex 4: Description of services.

1.4The following documents have been provided for information only:

1.4.1Annex 1: Future operating model;

1.4.2Annex 2: Description of the National Test Directory; and

1.4.3Annex 5: Informatics.
