WPC Worlds
The WPC worlds will be held in Orlando Florida from November 5th to November 10th at the B Resort and Spa,
In order to qualify for the WPC worlds you must have lifted at one of the Nationals June 23 and 24 in Barrie Ontario, or the 2018 CPF Canadian Open in Prince George BC, or the Canadian High School Championships in Kitchener Ontario,
As well if you have a history as a competitive powerlifter with the CPF and you are working at any of those meets or if you are a meet director yourself you can apply to be part of the WPC experience.
Please note that to qualify to compete as a Raw Powerlifter at WPC worlds you must compete at one of the qualifying meets under WPC Raw Powerlifting rules. That means a Belt, Singlet and Wrist Wraps may be used but knee wraps and or knee sleeves are not allowed. Use of knee sleeves or wraps at one of the qualifying competitions will qualify a lifter for Classic Raw Powerlifting at the WPC Worlds.
All entries are done by the country head and no individual entries from outside the United States will be accepted. If you are interested in going please email indicating your interest in attending WPC Worlds. You can do this at any time once you have registered for one of the CPF competitions listed above.
Canada can send up to 3 people for every age class/weight class combination so there will be lots of space on the team.
