- We’re back at the Super 8. No weird room with “rustic” bunk beds. Sweet.
- This trip is about the race—bring your whites and blues as well as anything else you need to race, such as running shoes, spikes, knee wraps, lucky charms, etc. Everyone on the trip willrace Saturday morning. If you think this will be a problem let me know before we leave LZ.
- Bring any special foods you like to have either the night before or the morning of races. I will have for you granola bars and a leftover Subway sandwich, but that’s about it. The hotel will have a breakfast but I can’t promise there will be anything you like or want. I eat nothing butpositive thoughts and unicorn jerky on this trip.
- The program covers the cost of the hotel and bus. You will need to have money for Friday lunch and dinner and Saturday lunch/dinner. We will eat cheaply but it will be better to come prepared. I will loan you money in an emergency, but the collateral I demand is illegal in most civilized universes.
- Space on the mini bus is limited. Do not bring a large bag. I recommend a backpack or small duffle. You don’t need anything other than race clothes and something to wear after the race. I’m bringing only a small purse and a stuffed bear.
- All school rules will be in effect for the duration of the trip. Any violations of school rules will be dealt with harshly and immediately. Any pledge card violations will necessitate your parents coming to Peoria to pick you up. I know this will not be a problem.
- Any questions or concerns should be addressed with me before we leave on Friday, preferably before Friday, even. Or just don’t have any. That would be nice.
