Applicants should read the EXEED Grant Scheme Guidelines before completing this form.
To accommodate the purpose of the efficient design management process, the EXEED project funding is split into two stages – Stage-1 EXEED Project Proposal and Stage-2 EXEED Final Project Funding.
Only EXEED Stage-2 form should be submitted at Stage-2Applications forms should be submitted electronically to .
Once the EXEED Project Evaluation Platform is developed applications should be submitted via the SEAI PEP systems ( )

2.3 Opportunities falling within grant window
In the challenge and analyse stage of EXEED the significant energy uses shall be challenged in sequence following the Energy Venn Diagram principle of energy efficient design. All ideas and opportunities together with decisions on Acceptance or Rejection for implementation shall be documented in the Energy Savings Register (ESR).From the Energy Saving Register, list below the energy efficiency opportunities that will be implemented within the current grant window. Include details of the estimated energy savings, the Energy Venn Diagram level in which the opportunity applies and the M&V method that will be used to verify the savings.
Note: In the opportunity field, outline the extent to which an energy performance improvement opportunity will be implemented as they relate to the requested grant support within 2017.

Note 1: In the ‘Basis of additionality’ field describe outline how the opportunity is additional above a baseline alternative.
Note 2: The incremental expenditure relates to expenditure that falls within the grant window. The eligible costs that can be grant aided when investing in energy performance are identified by reference to a similar, lower performing investment that would have been credibly carried out without aid. The difference between the costs of both investments identifies the energy performance-related costs and constitutes the eligible costs.

2.4 Summary of Final Proposed Funding
The following Tables are specifically for additional expenditure to implement EXEED Certified processes and only additional capital incurred as outcomes of the Design for Energy Performance and Design of Energy Management processes. Eligible capital expenditure is the incremental expenditure over the Baseline Design case (Counterfactual investment). Other project capital is not eligible for grant support and should not be included. Please enter details of other funding sources, public, private, in-kind contributions (including details of the provider of funding)
