Dr. Caltabiano is a certified CPI instructor in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention©and will train those who attend the workshop in preventative techniques as well as Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention SM. This workshop is only available to Kidz Therapy employees. Those employees that work with children that exhibit (or have the potential to exhibit) serious behaviors (i.e., aggression, self-injurious, elopement, etc.), should strongly consider attending this training.

Fee: $45 This fee covers costs associated with conducting this workshop (workbooks, etc.).

Workshop Capacity: 20participants (open only to the first 20 who respond)

Additional trainings will be scheduled in the near future.

Location: Kidz Therapy Office, 300 Garden City Plaza, Suite 350, Garden City

All those who complete the training, will receive a CPI card, indicating that you have been officially trained in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. The card is ONLY valid for your work with Kidz Therapy.

Important Note: All those who attend this workshop should dress comfortably, as part of the workshop involves physical rehearsal of some of the Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention Techniques. Please refrain from wearing any jewelry, and be sure to wear appropriate footwear (i.e., sneakers). The training will involve some bending over and, therefore, appropriate upper body wear (shirts) should be worn to the workshop.
