FWBLintends to engage Architects/ consultants / consulting firms for the renovation/refurbishment work of its premises located atMehdi Tower 7th Floor main Shahra-e-Faisal Karachi.

Tender Procedure:

For this tender PPRA’s Single stage two envelops as per PPRA rules 2004 clause 36(b) procedurefor open competitive bidding is adopted, comprising on Technical & Financial Proposal.The envelope should bear the phrase “Bid for Consultancy Service - Renovation/ Refurbishment Work for FWBL Site OfficeMehdi Tower 7th Floor Karachi”.

Conditions for Eligibility in Tender Procedure:

1)All tender documents & requisite information duly sealed in separate envelope i.e.TechnicalProposal, each page of tender documents should be signed by the Owner/ CEO of the firm along with company stamps.

2)The firm should be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in consultant category.

3)The firm should be registered with the tax authorities.

4)The firm having minimum3 years general experience in Construction Consultancy.

5)The firm having more than2 years experience in banking industry regarding consultancy services in renovation projects.

6)Firm’s profile should include at least details of office of the consultant, contact numbersand list of staff & projects completed

7)Major Banks & other financial institutions should be on its client list.

8)Financial stability should be strong.

9)ECIB Status/ reportshould be clear.

10)Company must have completed minimum 3 yearsof establishment.

Instructions to Bidder

  1. Bidding documents can be obtained from Admin Department, FWBL Head Office(S.T.S.M Foundation Building CL-10/20/2, Beaumont Road, Civil Line Karachi) after deposit of Rs. 1,000/- (Non Refundable) in the form of Cash/PO/DD in the name of FWBL.
  2. Sealed bids should be dropped in the Tender Box placed at reception area FWBL Head Office GF-II (detailed address also mentioned above) on or before 20 February 2015 by 10:30 AM.
  3. FWBL will not responsible for any delays in submission of bids sent via mail or courier.
  4. The consultancy fee/ offer should be stated in defined/ Fixed amount for the above mentioned project on company letter head in separate sealed envelope i.e. Financial Proposal.
  5. If fee quoted in percentage it would not be accepted and will stand rejected.
  6. Fee quoted must be in Pak rupee & inclusive of all duties, taxes and other Costs etc.
  7. Incomplete offers will not be considered/ entertained.
  8. Alteration & modification will not be allowed,properly filled all relevant columns of tender documents must be provided.
  1. Bids will be opened the same day i.e. 20 February 2015 at 11:00 AM in the presence of the Tender Committee & those contractors or their representatives who wish to attend. Only one individual per firm/company can attend.
  2. The offers will be scrutinized by the Tender Committee of FWBL. The decision of the committee will be final.
  3. In the case of any tender where unit rate of any item/items appear unrealistic, such tender offer will be considered as unbalanced and in case the tenderer is unable to provide satisfactory explanation such a tender is liable to be disqualified and rejected.
  4. Scope of work & other related information about project has already been mentioned in tender documents.
  5. Only selected bidder (Consultant) will be able to visit the site along with FWBL authorized/ designated staff.
