AYSO Area 1B 2016 Fall League Champions Playoffs

Welcome to the Area 1B2016Fall League tournament.

These guidelines will apply to all competition in this tournament.

Please check the Area 1B website for up to the minute updates at .

All coaches MUST have in their possession at all times the properly completed and signed (“wet ink” signature) or e-signature “AYSO Medical Release Form”for each player. Coaches must have an AYSO roster listing all of their players. Only players listed on those rosters will be allowed to participate in the Tournament. All players must play at least one-half of each game, or three quarters of each game if that is what your Region requires.

The tournament will be a Semi-finals & Finals (single elimination) format.

All 4 participants in each division will receive medals.

  • U!6 games will be 40 minutes in duration with referee monitored substitutions, coach must turn in the time sheet.
  • U19 games will be 45 minutes in duration with referee monitored substitutions, coach must turn in the time sheet.

Games that have a score that is tied at the end of “regulation time” will go directly to “Shots from the Mark”.

GAMES:

All games will be of normal duration forsemi- and final matches.

A 15 minute grace period will be allowed from the scheduled start time of the game before a “Forfeit” is called.

ALL GAMES MUST START ON TIME TO ACHIEVE THE FULL DURATION OF THE MATCH.

If game starts late because a team did not arrive in time, equal time will be taken off each half.

Teams should be at the field and ready to play regardless of the weather conditions at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to allow for a proper “Check in” procedure.

If a team does not show up ready to play before the end of the 15 grace period, a Forfeit will be called by the referee a winning score of 1-0 will be posted for the team that was ready to play.

ANY SITUATION NOT COVERED BY THESE GUIDELINES WILL REVERT BACK TO THE AREA 1B GUIDELINES CURRENTLY ACTIVE, then the Section Playoff guidelines and the National Rules and Regulations.
