2018 Application for Membership
Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national pre-health honor society, invites qualified applicants to apply for admission. AED is a group that functions as both an honor society and a volunteer organization. As a result of their individual commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence and through their activities in AED, our members are looked upon as leaders among pre-health students. We look, therefore, for dedicated, passionate pre-health students to join our organization in helping the Pre-Professional Office provide invaluable services and mentorship to the pre-health population here at Johns Hopkins.
Application Requirements:
(a) Current sophomore or junior class standing
(b) Science GPA of 3.30 or higher*
(c) Overall GPA of 3.40 or higher*
(d) Demonstrated commitment to community/public service
(e) Demonstrated passion for making a difference in the lives of others
*These will be verified by the Pre-Professional office and remain confidential. Applicants who do not meet the GPA requirements may submit a short statement explaining their circumstances to justify consideration for admission. (Refer to Page 5)

Please answer the following questions in a single-spaced format in an appropriate font size. Please answer all of the following questions included in this application.
Selected applicants will then be invited for a short, informal interview following an initial screening process. These interviews will take place from February 10 – February 12. If you have any questions regarding the application, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to receiving your application and meeting you this spring.
