ANNUAL PARISH MASS FOR EXAM STUDENTS, hosted by the Parish Liturgy Group - asking God’s Blessing on all doing their Leaving and Junior Certificate Exams will take place on Friday evening next, 30th May, at 7.00pm here at St. Mary’s Church. All the students and family members are invited to attend. The names of all doing exams in each of our local schools will be placed in a basket before the Altar and be assured that you will be remembered and prayed for at all Masses during the exams.
MARKING BILLY’S RETIREMENT: Reminder that we have a special collection for Billythis weekend – after all massesin the church yard on your way out of Mass. The donations received at this collection will be presented to Billy by the Parish Pastoral Council and a gift on behalf of the Parish Finance Council will also be presented on Friday night June13th in the Ballroom of Listowel Arms. The ‘gathering’ will have a dual purpose on the night: (1) Saying ‘thank you’ to Billy and (2) acknowledging with thanks all involved in the various ministries of our Parish throughout the year. It is open to everyone to attend. It will begin with Mass at 8.00 p.m. (sharp) followed by light refreshments and some music.
