Medical Update HMP Swansea

  1. One year since HMP psychiatrist, Dr David Seely, recommended a neurologist was required.
  1. Refusal to correct/clarify police fabricated medical records for required anaesthetic continues.
  1. At brief cell visit no differential diagnosis discussion or alternative medication was allowed.
  1. Despite applications and verbal requests it is now weeks since I have been ‘seen’ by a doctor.
  1. Despite attempts to obtain FOIA medical records disclosure monies from private funds have again been denied byMAPPA Security. Outside attempts have, I believe, also been thwarted.
  1. Llandough Hospital/ABMU/Vale & Cardiff Health Trusts refuse to release anaesthetic form.
  1. On Sat 1st Novmy wheel chair removed on Health and Safety grounds as ‘too dangerous’.
  1. Since then I have obtained ‘pain relief’ from a nurse twice the rest via prisoners’ assistance
  1. Outside GP prescription was stopped without time to see if new medication was appropriate.
  1. My ElyGP and private medical care, just prior to my 14th Oct13 imprisonment, is ignored.
  1. My gut pain has recently altered in its characteristics butstill reduced if no food is taken.
  1. On 4th Nov I was presented with Zimmer frame which did nothing for gut pain complications.
  1. At 1920 hrs IMB representative visits cell to face one hour almost continuous Maurice ‘rant’!
  1. I then receive notification no further legal documents allowed in without a new court request.
  1. I have received no replies from lawyers accept refusals to assist in any way what so ever.
  1. ‘Basic’IEP appeal refusal means reduced ‘spends’ to buy pain relief stamps and stationary etc
  1. Today IMB will follow-up refused access to telephone for McKenzie Friend/medical/lawyers.
  1. I am still refused private medical attention at either my expense or by someone on my behalf.
  1. It is Dad’s birthday, an eminent veterinary surgeon in his time. What would he make of this? Never miss the obvious, young boy.Nothing replaces a thorough examination of your patient.
