BOARD OF EDUCATION BUDGET - FINAL UPDATE
On Tuesday, May 20th 2014, the Board of Education officially voted to reduce the Education Budget given the reductions approved by other town bodies (BoS, BoF and RTM) for a total of $1,304,000 in reductions.TheEducationBudgetfor 2014-2015 (FY 15)startingJuly 1stnowstands at $155,718,051 for a total increase of 2.99% over last year’s budget.Please contact Kelly Dunn f you have any questions about the final vote.

- June 18– 8th Grade Graduation at Warde HS Gymnasium9:00 a.m.(no tickets needed)
For parents / guardian of 8th graders:Moving up ceremonies will take placeon Wednesdaymorning,June 18th at 9:00 a.m.in the Warde HS gymnasium. Students should come to Woods in the morning as usual and “dressed up” for the ceremony. They will be bused to Warde for the ceremony.Thank you, Dr. Rosato

four ensembles in a reception
following the concert.
We are asking you to please help us by bringing in an item listed ( click on the link below) for the reception, all items can be dropped off in the auditorium lobby by5 p.m.(you may also bring the item/s with you to the concert as well, but it's easier to organize prior)
We also need someone to help on the evening of the concert at6:30 p.m.

The Fairfield Special Education PTA (SEPTA) will be holdinga fundraiser,”SEPTA Rocks On!” onSaturday May 31, 2014 from 7-10 pm.There will belive entertainment featuring “BirdsOver Arkansas”,Silent Auctions, Door Prizes, Food & Cash Bar.The event will be held at the Gaelic-American Club in Fairfield.

Calling all former students who were taught by Mrs. Diane Devalt:
Mrs. Devalt, a fifth grade teacher at North Stratfield School for 34 years and Osborn Hill School for 10 years announced her retirement at the end of this school year, when she completes her 44th year as a consummate educator in Fairfield. Several of her recent students have parents who themselves were taught by Mrs. Devalt.
To honor Mrs. Devalt's life time of passionate teaching, we are planning a surprise for her.
