At Bright Beginnings (2), Early Learner (3), and Preschool (4) levels our curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices are driven by Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards in all of the essential domains of school readiness. We also incorporate a variety of research-based curriculums and create our own in order to provide the richest experience possible for our students in the following areas:

At the Kinder Ready (late 4’s and 5) level our curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices are driven by an effective blend of Ohio’s Early Learning Standards and the Kindergarten State Curriculum. Our teachers use a variety of research-based curriculums as well as create their own material in order to provide the richest experience possible for our students.
At the Kindergarten level (5 and 6) our curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices are driven by Ohio’s New Learning Standards for Kindergarten as well as pulling from a combination of other research-based curricula:
Grade K English Language Arts: reading, writing, speaking & listening, language
Grade K Science Standards: earth, life, physical
Grade K Mathematics: counting & cardinality, operations & algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, measurement & data, geometry
Grade K Social Studies: A Child’s Place in Time and Space

Through a Christian environment we educate and nurture children so that they remain life-long faithful followers of Jesus and use their God-given abilities wherever He calls them.
King of Kings Philosophy
A King of Kings education provides a child-centered, hands-on, holistic approach. We providevirtues-based development of the whole child and preparation for academic challenges ahead. We believe the primary teachers of children are their parents with whom the school collaborates to help the students develop their God-given talents.
King of Kings Parent Registration Day: Thursday, August 18, 2016: 4:30-7:00 pm
- Collect completed registration packet
- Verify we have all of your correct contact information
- Collect school application fee if you have not paid it
- Collect first month’s tuition and set up your payment plan if you have not already done that
- Sign families up for enrichment classes (Spanish, Art, Music, and Gym, ASL, ELL)
- Parents can sign up for various volunteer activities
- Please bring a copy of each Kindergartner’s birth certificate
King of Kings Meet Your Teacher Day: Teachers will announce in August, 2016
In late August, the teachers will be calling or writing you to set a time and date for you to bring your child to school for a sneak preview and to visit with them. This will give your child an opportunity to visit with the teacher and see the classroom before their first day.
King of Kings Orientation Night: Wednesday, August 31, 2016: 7:00-7:30 pm
Parents are asked to attend our Orientation Night on. It is especially important to attend if you are a new family. We request that only parents attend this meeting. We will do the following:
- Go over new and standard policies & procedures as seen in our handbook
- Answer questions you may have
- Introduce the staff
- Academic Calendar Enhancements
